Prepaid calling cards have become the hot property to start a business with due to their tremendous and ever increasing popularity. Calling cards are used to make cheaper long distance and international calls as compared to your regular telephone lines. Frequent travelers often complain about the exorbitant call charges charged by the hotels.

Calls made through a hotel ends up costing you heavily for the call is routed through a specific carrier working in cooperation with the hotel. The carrier normally charges you first minute rate, following per minute rates and a heavy sum as surcharge. Carrier gives a commission to the hotel and higher this commission more would be the surcharge in order to adjust the charges paid to the hotel. Hence even a single call while away on a trip will end up costing you a fortune!

On the other hand by using the international calling cards not only will the amount for surcharge be diminished but the per minute charges are also significantly low. This is precisely why the prepaid phone cards have found an expansive market worldwide.

Working Of Calling Cards:Long distance calling cards are available in the market in varying and affordable denominations ranging from as small as $5 to $100 and even higher. Thus they fit perfectly in everyones pay pocket. Prepaid cards are pre-charged with the amount of the card. At the time of making a call you are required to dial a toll free number which is mentioned on the card itself. You will hear an IVR which will ask you to dial the destination number along with the area or country code and you will be easily connected to the number you wish to call. Phone Cards Market:

In order to venture into the phone cards market you would need a considerable level of investment not to mention the back-end support and technical hardware and software needed to generate and market calling cards. The world of touchscreen mobile phones is starting to get exciting, as the biggest name in the business has waded in with not one, but TWO mobile phones: the Nokia 5800 and the utterly mind-blowing Nokia N97. An undistinguished history – Nokia touchscreen mobile phones in the past Many people are under the false assumption that the Nokia 5800 is the first ever touchscreen mobile phone to come from the Finnish manufacturer. It’s not. Quite the opposite, in fact, there have been a few touchy-feely phones to wear the Nokia badge. Starting with the 7700, there have been a couple of Nokia mobile phones that work by you prodding and poking the screen. They had a relatively big (for the time) touchscreen in common, but the other feature they had in common, unfortunately, was that they were irredeemably awful. Only one of these mobile phones, the 6708, showed any promise, but that was destined only for the Chinese market, and so, never saw the light of day in the UK. The mobile phones we got were, and I use this phrase with much feeling, utter, utter garbage. However (and yes, it’s a big however), these bad, bad memories have all been exorcised by the launch of two new Nokia mobile phones, both of which have touchscreens, and both of which are much, MUCH nicer. . . Nokia 5800 – touching music First up is a new entrant into Nokia’s Xpress family of music mobile phones, the gorgeous Nokia 5800. This one’s very definitely designed for music and media, as it has a dedicated XpressMedia button that brings up a list of shortcuts to music, videos, the web, and so on. Oh, and a 3. 2 inch touchscreen, to actually watch/play with/use those different media. Basically, the Nokia 5800 is designed as a little handheld entertainment centre, and as music mobile phones go, this is easily one of the sexiest. The Nokia 5800 also comes with a 3 megapixel camera, HSDPA internet access and GPS, making it a brilliant all-round mobile phone, as well as a brilliant media player. Oh, and it has a lanyard to attach to imitation guitar plectrum. That rocks! However, the Nokia 5800 is very definitely a mid-range mobile phone, it isn’t, nor was it ever meant to be, an absolute top-ender. That position falls to another. . . Nokia N97 – the single best phone EVER made? With the Nokia 5800 all set to bring touchscreen mobile phones to the mid-range market, that leaves a very big gap at the very top-end, and yes, there IS a touchscreen mobile phone on its way to fill that gap: the frankly awesome Nokia N97. This takes the same Symbian S60 Touch interface and crams it into the body of a proper, full on smartphone. So it has a bigger, 3. 5 inch screen, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, and the camera’s been upgraded to 5 megapixels. The Nokia N97 is, in a very definite way, the new flagship Nseries mobile phone, and it really is as high-spec as the rumours had us believe, with HSDPA, GPS, digital compass, and built-in Flash, meaning you get an internet experience like no other mobile phones! Put simply the Nokia N97 is awesome. It gleefully relieves itself over other mobile phones and while the Nokia 5800 aims firmly for the mid-range, I am predicting that the Nokia N97 will DOMINATE the world next year!

A teenager can buy one of these cards, and even learn to use them, and then should have no problem with other cards to buy and use in the future. If you’re looking to get yourself a top-end mobile phones this Christmas, look no further than Nokia’s Nseries; whether you go for the fabulous Nokia N85 or its big brother, the super-powered, incredible Nokia N96, you’re onto a winner! The ancestors of the Nseries – Nokia mobile phones take over the world When Nseries mobile phones first hit the shelves, everyone basically went, ‘Ooh, nice!’ Right from the early days, it was clear this new breed of mobile phones was something new, combining sleek looks with mind-bending (for its time, anyway) power. They became the ultimate multimedia mobile phones, and people flocked to them in droves. Over time, Nokia expanded the range, adding more features and cool stuff, until today, they are regarded as some of the best mobile phones in the world. That view is unlikely to change with the release of two new Nokia Nseries mobile phones: the gorgeous Nokia N85, and the frankly awesome Nokia N96. Videodrome – Nokia N96 Every Nokia Nseries mobile phone has had one killer gimmick, one thing it’s been known for. The N91 was the first with a built-in hard drive. The N95 was the first Nokia mobile phone with a 5 megapixel camera. Well, the Nokia N96 has not one, but two killer gimmicks. Before we get to them, however, let’s take a quick look at the other features on this so-called king of mobile phones. Like its predecessor the N95, the Nokia N96 has a 5 megapixel camera, GPS and super-fast internet access. What it brings to the party, though, are two things that are new to Nokia mobile phones. First, the Nokia N96 has 16Gb of internal memory, something not seen on any of their previous mobile phones. Secondly is its big focus: video. The Nokia N96 is, essentially, a portable cinema in your hand, and a mobile TV, since it comes complete with BBC iPlayer, making the Nokia N96 the first mobile phone in history that lets you stream AND download videos from iPlayer, straight out of the box. Nokia N85 – a wolf in sheep’s clothing? The Nokia N96 really is one of the most powerful mobile phones on the planet. . . but some say its little brother, the Nokia N85 is even better. To be fair, that idea has some merit, because there’s not a huge list of differences between the two mobile phones. The Nokia N85 doesn’t have DVB-H mobile TV or iPlayer, and the internal memory is down from 16Gb to 74Mb. But let’s analyse those things. First off, the lack of DVB-H on the Nokia N96 is NOT a big deal, since that standard isn’t supported in Europe yet. As for the lack of iPlayer, the version for mobile phones is freely downloadable (or will be soon), so it not coming preinstalled on the Nokia N85 is only a TINY hindrance. And whilst the N96 has a bigger screen, the one on the Nokia N85 is far superior, as it’s an OLED screen, making it brighter, more colourful, and all round better. Plus, it seems HIGHLY likely that the Nokia N85 will be the vastly cheaper of these two mobile phones, so by that logic, you can’t really lose if you go for the Nokia N85!
